Three months ago today, our son was placed in our arms forever! Words cannot described the emotions of that day. There was nervousness, fear, excitement, joy, & so much more. There we were...in a foreign country about to have our son handed to us. New parents. Being handed a 7 month old who didn't know us. Yes, we were scared to death! But we had also waited for this day for a long time! Yes, our adoption process was exactly a year to the very day. We sent our application in on Oct. 13, 2009 & had our son in our arms on Oct. 12, 2010! To those who don't really know us, that was fast. However, that 1 year was not the only time we had wanted & waited for a child. It had been years. And on Oct. 12, 2010 our dreams finally came true! We were parents! :) This has been the best few months of my life so far! I wouldn't change anything about our journey to Samuel. It was hard. Had many ups & downs, but that's what brought us to OUR son. God's perfect plan. I haven't forgotten the wait & the ups & downs of the process (or people's rude comments!), but I get to look into the sweetest little face each & every day that makes it all worth it! I'd do it all again in a heartbeat to have my sweet Samuel!

We love our little man so much! It's crazy how fast time is flying & how much he has already changed. I'm trying to enjoy each & every minute b/c I don't want to miss a thing!

That was so sweet, congratulations on three months! Our wait seems so long but looking at your pictures makes the wait a bit easier knowing what I have to look forward too.

I can't believe it's already been 3 months! I love the pictures of his sweet little face. We can't wait to see you guys Saturday and meet Samuel in person!!!
