Seoul day 5

This day is Seoul has been the BEST day ever! Of course, b/c we got our sweet Samuel today forever! We are SO in love. Today was an emotional day to say the least! It was our Family/Gotcha day! Samuel's foster mother was so sweet. I feel bad for her & his foster dad. They love him so much & I know it was hard letting him go. Then there is the wondering about Samuel's birthmother. Does she know that today he was placed with his forever family? Could we have passed her one of the past days on the street or in the subway? These are just a few of the emotions of the day. Of course we are beyond excited that we are finally a family of 3! This is the best feeling in the world!

I'm a mommy & Bill's a daddy! :) Samuel is wonderful! He took a nap in the taxi to our hotel & a little while when we got back. Then he woke up & we played. Then it was time for a bottle. Such a sweet time. :) A little later we decided to go for a walk. We put him in the carrier & headed out. Just nearby the hotel. He fell asleep again in the carrier. So, we walked around for a little more, came back to the hotel & I left him in the carrier & let him finish his nap. He just woke up & is now playing with daddy! It'll soon be time for a bottle again! We hope that we are able to console him if he is grieving tonight. It may come tonight as he gets ready for bed. Please continue to pray for attachment & adjustment.

He is such a little love! Here are some pics for you to enjoy! Glad I was able to post more! :)

I love you all, can't wait to see you. I'm so happy right now words can't describe my feelings. God has blessed you with a Blessing that many more will follow. Can't wait to see you home. I will be praying for Samuels foster parents, I know it has to be hard on them, they are very special people to do what they do. God Bless.

Those are great pics! Seeing Bill with Samuel, I can just tell that Bill is an awesome dad. You are just an awesome mom too. Your instincts must have chimed in because you both look so natural. I love you both and will be praying for a good night for the both of you and praying for a good night for the foster parents. Love you both!

Awww! Those pictures are melting my heart, too! What a wonderful day. I love that Samuel fell asleep on you in the taxi. That had to feel so great. Joel was sent home with the same little cotton cloths that Samuel has around his neck. We still use them! And, I always used to wonder if we'd passed Joel's birth mother on the streets or the subway while we were in Seoul, too.

Congratulations on your Family Day!
