Seoul day 4

Okay...so I know why you're probably REALLY checking out the blog for today! :) Pictures! So, I'll post the important ones first & then tell you about our day, if you want to read about it. :)

So, here ya go! Pictures of our cutie!

When we got to the foster mom's home, he was sleeping.

Loving on daddy! :)

Our first family photo!

Hey mommy!

I'm teething! No teeth yet though!

Okay, now I'll tell you about our day! There's more pics at the end of what we did after meeting our baby. We woke up bright & early this morning to get ready to meet Samuel. We took a taxi to SWS & arrived early. Our appointment was at 9:20 but we got there at 9:00! We didn't want to be late, especially for this & weren't sure exactly how long it would take with the traffic. So we waited for Samuel's social worker to finish up. We waited inside the office. We were able to meet the international director, Ms. Sun. She was extremely nice, as was his social worker. They all seemed so young! Then we headed to the foster family's home. They were extremely nice! The foster dad was there as well. They had a lot of food waiting for us as well as juice. It was all so good! Couldn't eat too much though b/c we were a little nervous! When we arrived at their home Samuel was sleeping. Such a precious face! So we were able to talk with the foster mother & learn all about our baby boy. That was SO hard b/c we really wanted to get our hands on him! He woke up a little later (seemed like forever!) & we were able to play with him! As you can see in the pics up above he is such a happy boy! He went right to us & smiled & played! We are SO in love! :) It was such a precious time. Our time ended with him too soon. We did get wonderful news though! We are going to get Samuel forever tomorrow at 11:00 (Mon. at 10:00pm at home) instead of Wed.! Yay! We are so excited to have an extra day with our boy in Seoul!
So, the rest of the afternoon we tried to stay busy. We took the subway back to our hotel & changed clothes & then headed out. We thought we were going to have Tues. to do the rest of our sight seeing, so we had to finish up & do some more shopping. We really hadn't gotten many things & we wanted to buy Samuel some special things & things to remember Seoul by. We went to Itaewon & the Gyeongbokgung Palace. Itaewon is what they call the American village. They had a lot of American stores & restaurants, but also everything was in English (as well as Korean). We found a few nice little Korean shops. We bought a lot of things for Samuel there. Then we headed to the palace. It was huge & gorgeous! Words can't describe!
We were so tired physically & emotionally at the end of the day! We found a Papa John's (LOL!) near our hotel & got a pizza. It was great!
Here are some pics our afternoon!

The things we got today!

We can't wait until tomorrow! This sounds bad, but I think I may be taking Benadryl so I can sleep tonight! This may be the last post for a while! Since we are getting Samuel tomorrow I may not have much time. I'm sure I won't rather! I will try, but we'll see! Thank you everyone for all of the prayers. We were nervous today, but could tell that there were prayers going up on our behalf. We had a wonderful peace & such a wonderful first meeting with our son!
