Seoul day 6

Today was a relaxed day. We stayed in the room this morning & skyped with our family. They loved seeing Samuel! We mostly played, fed, changed, & took naps all day! :) It was great! We did get out once to get something for lunch & we found a Subway to get subs for dinner so we wouldn't have to get out again.

Last Samuel did great. He did get upset last night towards bedtime. He was looking around & crying. :( He had tears streaming down his face. He was grieving & looking for his foster mom & dad. We tried our best to console him. We gave him a bath, bottle, & rocked him to sleep. He did great throughout the night! He only woke up 2 times! He did toss & turn & was whining in his sleep. :( We felt so bad for him. He made us want to cry he was so sad. :( We know this is normal & good. He needs to do that in order to attach to us. Overall it was a great night! He woke up with a HUGE smile on his face! That made our day!

Tomorrow we our getting up early & leaving to head back home. It's a bittersweet day. We are SO ready to be home & see our family, but will miss Seoul dearly. A part of our hearts are here. Hopefully one day we can return when Samuel is older!

These pics will have to hold you over until who knows when! It'll take some time getting adjusted to life & of course the jet lag. So, enjoy!

Daddy feeding Samuel!

Look at his cute little booty!

Trying to get a self family photo this morning

This is what happens when he gets in the baby carrier. :)

Us in Seoul! :)

...he not only likes to suck on his fingers...

...he likes to suck on his toes too! :) He is a flexible boy!

Love his jammies!

Alrighty...we'll be home soon! Prayers for safe & tolerable travels! :)

The booty shot was adorable and the three of you look great! Thanks for sharing. Prayers for a tolerable flight and a sleepy baby (who actually sleeps!).
Looking forward to hearing more when you're settled in a bit! :)

Your day together sounds great! It is so hard to watch your child grieve, but like you said it is good and normal. Praying for a safe and uneventful flight tomorrow!

I've been following your blog for a little while -- I'm also an adoptive mom of a little boy from Korea. Just wanted to wish you all the best on your flight tomorrow.

And yes, the grieving is so hard to watch, but it will get better.

Oh and your son is an absolute cutie!! :)
