Seoul day 2

Well, today we ventured out into Seoul. We went to Deoksugung Palace & the Namdaemun Market. For breakfast we found a nice little cafe underneath the hotel near the subway. We got some muffins. They were really good with real blueberries! Then we went out to see Seoul! We took the subway....that was interesting! So thankful for all the friendly people here. If we looked lost they would offer help, or if we asked for help they were happy to. The subway was really crowded! Like, on top of each other crowded! You had to be fast to get off on the right exit too. The people wouldn't really move & you had to push your way through. The market was huge! There were so many street vendors! A lot of pocket books, shoes, & coats. There were other things too, but those things seem to be popular. At the palace we were able to see the changing of the guard. It was beautiful! So glad we got to it!
It was a long day, but a lot of fun. We did a lot of walking! We are glad we were able to manage through Seoul. It's huge & overwhelming, but now we know we can do it! There is always people willing to help if you can't find something.
Here are some pictures to enjoy!

The beginning of our day

One of the entrances to the market. It was HUGE!

Look what we found! Yay! We did not want the seafood from the street vendors & were starving!

Humongous mall! It was 14 stories high!

Here we are with one of the guards at the palace.

We got Samuel a Hanbok & a trinket box. :)

Later we saw fireworks outside the window at our hotel!
