So, yesterday we told our Sunday School class. We wanted to wait to make it public news until we knew if they liked our initial application. Bill felt like it was the right time, so he told everyone during prayer request time. It feels good to know we have so much support from our brothers and sisters in Christ! We will definitely need a lot of encouragement and support. Our immediate family already knew, so we were just waiting a bit to tell everyone. I guess I was scared of failure, that the agency wouldn't like us, or that we wouldn't qualify (even though we knew the qualifications and met all of them!). There's still a chance that they might not like us after our interview, but as I said before, she said that we would leave with a stack of paperwork. So that sounds hopeful! I guess we just need to be ourselves and be honest and truthful in our answers.
I'm excited to see what God is going to do!

I don't think you'll have anything to worry about! Once again, I'm so happy for you guys! Has your SW given you an estimated timeline??? We hit a bump in the road with ours. Just so many more families ahead of us in line than we thought there would be, so we can't send our paperwork to Korea until May (you may have read all this on my blog so sorry for the repeat if you did!). So we're thinking it'll by early 2011 when we get a referral. I know every agency is different so I didn't know if your agency had an idea for you guys of when you may get a referral!
Thank you! We don't have a timeline yet, except the generalized 15-18 months. That's something I'm going to ask next Monday at our interview. One good thing about our agency is that they work directly with the SWS in Korea. There's no middle agency. So, hopefully it won't take too long to get our referral. We'll see though. I'm sure there will be bumps and curves on our path too. Praying for you guys!
