Newspaper article

So here's an article I want everyone to read: http://www.newsobserver.com/2010/06/14/528330/jewelry-made-from-trash-in-africa.html#storylink=misearch

I read this, this morning. It is a wonderful article about jewelry that is made from rolled paper and trash by women in Uganda. A few young women have started a business to give these women work. These Ugandan woman are able to send their children & other orphans to school, & are able to buy produce as well as other things to sell. The name of the company is 31 bits. I LOVE how they got their name...but you'll have to read about it in the article! ;) Please check it out. Also if you're interested in the necklaces you can buy them at www.31bits.com.

I just found this article inspiring & wonderful compared to a lot of news we read about today. It also talks about the orphans a bit, which is part of my heart!
