God is good!

Yes, I'm typing this very early! I'm up & was getting ready for work. Unfortunately they called & cancelled me again. :( However, this will give me time to get a lot done for our home study & get papers together. We are planning on sending our application back to them today too!

Even in all this, God has still blessed us. I wanted to write last night, but went to bed so I could get up early for work this morning. Oh well! Each year at my work we receive a certain % of a bonus. It can be up to, I think, 5%. This money is not always guaranteed because it depends on how we do financially, but since I've been there (5 1/2 years) we've always received it. Well, as you all know this year has been rough economically, touching everyone's lives in some way whether small or big. We were told that due to the rough financial fiscal year, we would not be receiving a bonus this year.

Well, last night I checked my email for work. We ARE getting a bonus this year! Yay! Praise Jesus! It's tenatively going to be 1.79% (since it said it's estimated at that amount, I'm praying for more). That's not much, but it's a considerable amount. That's 1.79% of your yearly earnings, which is much better than 0%! Whatever the final amount ends up being, it's because of God. He knows when we have needs, and He'll always provide! I just really need to remember this at all times. I'm so thankful for the reminder He has given me!
