Lots of paperwork!

Well, we are finally back home! We had a wonderful interview! It went great! Basically just went over the application again to verify everything was correct. She answered some of our questions, and really just go to know us a little better. Glad we won't have to make that trip again! It was long and exhausting! We also contacted the agency in NC that we will be working with to do our home study. We will be getting all of the info. in the mail soon, and that will start! Our SW in MD said that a lot is up to us now. We will have to do a lot of paperwork and get things going! It's like you have to hurry up and get all of this paper work done, and then wait forever for your referral!

We were told that we could potentially have our child before the holidays next year! That is if everything goes smoothly. That would be so sweet! She said a generalized time frame would be 12-15 months from now. So if not before the holidays, it would be right after.

I'm ready to get our home study packet in the mail, so we can get this thing rolling! I don't want any of the hold up to be from me not doing my part! Of course along with things getting going is the paying of the expenses. We are trying to save, but it's hard! We don't just have about $30,000 sitting in the bank! If anyone knows of some ideas for fundraisers, let me know! I'd love to hear them!
