Asheville

Last week I went on a mission trip to Asheville with my church. We had a wonderful time! Lots of laughter! The most important thing though, is that we shared Jesus with others. We worked at a home for battered women & children, went door to door, & helped a local church at night with their VBS. There were 3 professions of faith (& some that were curious & close!)! We hope to continue a relationship with the church there. Many nice people!

Towards the end of the week we were so tired that just about anything & everything was HILARIOUS! We were always cracking up! On Thursday night Martin, Vicky, Hannah, & I travelled back home. Only, we left at about 11:30 at night! We got home around 4:20 or so. I will never forget that ride home! FUNNY!

We all (at least I think) had a wonderful time. It's such a blessing to work with others for the Lord. I'm thankful I was a part of this mission team. It was great getting to know my church family more & stepping out of our comfort zones together for Him. I'm thankful to God for that opportunity & hope that I continue stepping out of my comfort zone for Him!
