Last weekend I actually had someone tell me congratulations when they heard the news of our adoption! Other than our parents or family I think this was the first time I have been told congratulations once someone has found out we are adopting. Most conversations go something like this, "Do you have any children?" ~"No, not yet, but hopefully soon. We are adopting from South Korea." ~ "Oh...(followed by a nod of the head)." or "Well, that's nice." I guess most people don't respond to that news the way they would the news of a pregnancy. Which is fine. Most people aren't familiar with adoption, so sometimes it makes them uncomfortable, or assume things about us. It was just nice to hear a different response. So, I was excited to hear "Congratulations! That's wonderful!"
Now, all of our close family & friends are excited for us & are helping us out so much. I'm not trying to say they aren't excited about our little one. They are all very much supportive & there are days I don't know how I'd survive through if it weren't for them. THANK YOU to all of you! You all mean so much to us & we couldn't go through this process without the family, friends, & church support we have!
We also received another blessing this morning. God impressed upon a couple in our church to help us out financially with the adoption! We are so thankful for them & cannot say how blessed we are by them! Each time we receive a financial blessing we are completely blown away at the way He is providing. It always comes when we least expect it! Why should we be surprised though?? He's going to provide! :)
So, if there is anyone reading my blog....sorry this was kind of scattered. Two posts in one! Thank you all for following our journey & praying for us every step of the way!

it's always nice when someone understands that other than the physical aspect, it's exactly like being pregnant and they can respond the same way!!! and yippeeee for the financial help!!!
I agree with Jenny! It is so nice when someone takes the time to realize that we are pregnant too, just in a different way. So many people don't even think of it that way. But we know we are expecting a baby whether anyone can tell or not!
I'm praising the Lord with you on the donation. He continually provides exactly when we need it, doesn't He?
